Overview

As a human-centered organization, the Sunrun RunX Empowered Giving Program was created in an effort to empower Sunrun employees to give to the causes they care about. Through the RunX Empowered Giving Program, Sunrunners can support qualifying non-profit organizations through matching donations and matching volunteer hours. The RunX Empowered Giving Program offers the following avenues for giving:

• Employee Donations: employees may donate funds to any qualifying non-profit organization (“eligible organizations”)
• Employee Donation Matching: a dollar-for-dollar company match of monetary donations by an employee to a qualified organization up to $300 per year. This is designed to amplify the impact of employees’ monetary donations to qualified organizations.
• Volunteer Hour Tracking: employees may track the hours they spend volunteering with organizations and causes in the Platform.
• Volunteer Hour Rewards: for each recorded volunteer hour in the Platform reflecting time an employee spent volunteering with a qualifying nonprofit organization, an employee may earn $25 per hour in rewards, up to the annual maximum of $300 (or twelve hours) per calendar year, which may then be donated to any qualified organization.
